The GrandBed by Tempur-Pedic is the most luxurious of Tempur-Pedic models. It is a masterpiece crafted using newest Tempur-Pedic technologies. Its luxury and class transcend the look and feel of normal mattresses and provides you with an indescribable sleep experience. The GrandBed is quilted with two layers of Temper-HD™ covered with plush, blended silk and wrapped with beautiful satin siding. This body-pampering sleep surface eliminates physical stress, absorbs motion, and never needs to be turned or rotated.

The GrandBed by Tempur-Pedic was designed to ensure that you have the most luxurious sleep experience possible. Featuring two layers of TEMPUR-HD®, the GrandBed possesses a plush, blended silk cover with sides wrapped in satin. The TEMPUR-HD® technology provides unmatched pressure relieving comfort and body-conforming support. It has a higher density (7.0 lb/ft³) formula of our proprietary TEMPUR material, creates a luxurious, deep sleep experience. The denser TEMPUR cells across the sleep surface conform to every curve and angle of your body with exacting precision, providing even more support, greater pressure relief and unsurpassed durability.

The lavish silk blended covering is also hypoallergenic and is protected by a revolutionary, permanently bonded anti-microbial technology that provides defense against bacteria, fungi, and other microorganisms.

The GrandBed also features a double base layer that includes the AirFlow System™. This AirFlow System helps to better support the Tempur mattress layers and has increased circulation to enhance the pressure relieving properties. It also adds a heat dissipating quality, which ensures that you stay cool throughout the night.

Tempur-Pedic 20-Year Limited Warranty:

Tempur-Pedic, Inc. guarantees that your Tempur-Pedic Swedish Mattress™ will be replaced or repaired at Tempur-Pedic® option, without cost to you, should it be deemed defective because of faulty workmanship or structural defects during the first ten (10) years of the warranty, excluding specific limitations contained herein. It is understood that this limited warranty does not include a normal increase in softness of the TEMPUR® pressure-relieving material™ or a decrease in the slow recovery feature-aspects which do not affect the pressure-relieving qualities of the mattress.

This warranty covers any deterioration in the cell structure of the materials that causes the mattress to have a visible indentation greater than three-fourths (0.75) of an inch, not associated with a sag in the foundation, box springs, or platform. It also covers any physical flaw in the mattress that causes the material to split or crack despite normal usage and proper handling. If such defects occur during the remaining ten (10) years of this limited warranty we will, at Tempur-Pedic® option, repair the mattress at a handling cost to you, or replace the mattress at a prorated charge to you.

During the first year of the prorated, 10-year period, the prorated replacement charge will be fifty (50) percent of the original purchase price. The prorated charge will increase by five (5) percent for each subsequent year of the prorated period.

Tempur-Pedic® mattress has been designed to work with a firm, wood, completely flat, non-spring foundation. Tempur-Pedic® warranty and other performance guarantees are based on tests conducted on Tempur-Pedic® mattresses with such foundations as "sets." THEREFORE, SUBSTITUTING INAPPROPRIATE MANUFACTURERS' FOUNDATIONS OR BOX SPRINGS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE AND WILL VOID your TEMPUR-PEDIC SWEDISH MATTRESS™ WARRANTY AND ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. You may be required to provide proof as to the quality of the foundation being provided to your mattress in the event of a warranty claim.

The terry-cloth mattress cover is warranted for two (2) years against faults in material or workmanship.

All warranties contained herein shall not apply if the mattress, foundation, or cover has been physically abused, damaged, burned, cut or torn.

This warranty is valid only to the original purchaser of the product. If the original purchaser sells the product, the subsequent purchaser takes the product "as is" and "with all faults." All transportation costs are the responsibility of the purchaser and are additional to any prorated charges. If you did not purchase the mattress directly from Tempur-Pedic, Inc., you must provide proof of purchase for any warranty claim. You may contact the Tempur-Pedic Customer Service Department by calling toll-free 1-800-821-6621. This limited warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may also have other rights that vary from state to state.

The patented TEMPUR® material consists of layers varying in the different models of Tempur-Pedic mattresses. Each layer within the mattress construction provides a variable balance of pressure-relieving comfort and therapeutic support. The top TEMPUR Comfort Layer© consists of a softer formula that reacts immediately to your body temperature and weight. The TEMPUR® material is engineered to respond differently to very slight changes in temperature to become soft where you want it and firm where you need it™. The TEMPUR Support Layer completely absorbs and distributes your body weight. The material conforms exactly to every curve and angle of your body and enables a stronger support for your spine allowing you to lay in perfect alignment. The typical AirFlow System™ Base Layer© provides a supportive base for the TEMPUR® components and increases the flow of air to maximize comfort and responsiveness. The patented TempFlow System allows the cooler air to flow in two directions even when you are sleeping in the same position throughout the night.  Cooler air will enter through the many small holes that go down through the surface of the memory foam and out through the convoluted channels on the firmer base foam.  TEMPUR® material also works in reverse as air can enter through the sides and up through the surface holes.  This unique system also allows a heat transfer as the warmer air radiates off the body and ventilates down through the holes and out the sides of the mattress. That is why we always keep a breathable fabric where the channels exit on the sides of the mattress.  In addition, a greater volume of airflow transfer will occur with even the slightest movements that occur throughout the sleeping process.



TEMPUR® material also absorbs energy and relieves pressure to ensure that partners do not feel each other’s movements and sleep more soundly. This differs from many conventional mattresses or commodity memory foam mattresses because it prevents each partner from rolling together. Each partner is supported independently anywhere on the entire surface of the mattress. Pressure points can pinch off circulation, which causes discomfort and a seemingly endless night of tossing and turning. By redistributing your body weight (pressure) across the entire surface area, TEMPUR® material relieves these painful pressure points and enables a great night’s sleep.


Tempur-Pedic mattresses help to avoid inhaling common bedding allergens while you sleep. While dust mites have been a common problem with the thick padding that covers traditional innerspring mattresses, it becomes a non-issue with Tempur-Pedic products. Tempur-Pedic products pride themselves on being hypoallergenic. All products are naturally treated to be resistant to mites and other household allergens. In addition to being resilient to allergens, Tempur-Pedic also is devoid of chemicals that harm the environment and are toxic to humans. Biogreen™ memory foam is completely non-toxic and free of V.O.C. (Volatile Organic Compounds). Tempur-Pedic products are also both chlorofluorocarbon (CFC) and formaldehyde free.
